1/100 Herzensbrecher by Acoy Delgado

When I saw this kit on facebook I knew I had to feature it! Its weathering at its finest. not to subtle and not to over done. By the looks of the kit the base kit is an MG Zaku.

A rear side view of the kit reveals that the weathering is done all through out the model. notice how far the stain goes on to a point at the foot of the model. it is after all a huge mech.

Impressive concept of putting the turrets and cannons on the head part of the model.

Here we can see again the attention to detail put by sir Acoy. weathering and paint chipping on the orange stripe add realism to the overall kit instaed of a solid band

Here is a good shot of the rifle which is scratch built. wonder how many rounds it holds?

A nice kit and good photography skills are really a good combination.

even with close inspection the rust details are really well done. According to Sir Acoy the weathering is done using cotton balls and artist oils.

MG RX-93-2 NU Gundam

Since I still cant get this kit because of time constrains and low budget I searched the internet to give me a bit of an inspiration to save up and organized my schedule. On this build the modeller used metal thrusters and panel lind everything. A very nice clean build

Very nice action poses with the funnels open. you can see here how articulate the model is.

This kit is very well designed and planned. I noticed how it can store the cannon between the boosters without making the kit look too awkward

The metal booters really add to the kits realistic look plus its much cooler to use than those plastic ones.

Clean and crisp panel lines are very much needed for this kit to look like its a working model

Project Gwen FA + FW by Ver Ed.

I have always been impressed by works of Ver Ed also known as eday. His fine attention to detail and how he makes things blend together for a properly executed model. the surprise for this kit is the scale he usually models kits with superb detail in 1/144 scale and we all know how small that scale is.

panel lining and scribing on such a small kit is much easier said than done. keeping this in scale and blending things together not making the kits look like the panel is scribed there for no reason. this guy must have magnifying glasses while working on this build. such an awesome build!

cut

the use of add on parts to make this kit armor laden is also a key point that ive noticed on this kit. again its all well put together. guns guns and more guns! missile pods enough to make holes on any battleship.

comparing the kit from the original kit is mind bending. the use of metallic colors for the boosters and inner frame is also good. wire and boosters galore.
